A laboratory fume hood is a ventilation-equipped unit designed for handling chemically active volatile substances in laboratories. It ensures safe work with reagents, protects employees' respiratory systems, and removes hazardous substances from the room air. Depending on its purpose, the hood is equipped with a transparent front panel, an exhaust system, electrical supply, lighting, and water connections. The work surface is made of chemically resistant materials, while the lower cabinet (purchased separately) is used for storing reagents, instruments, and laboratory equipment.
